Access To Multiple Ports

DP World sounds like the name of a web site you should never visit from the office.

Comments:
I've been fascinated by the way the words used to describe the deal have evolved (I mostly listen to the news on NPR, so that's the source I'm talking about).

Initially the company that was going to control the ports was "a company based in the United Arab Emirates".

Then it became clear that this was going to be a major major issue. Suddenly the company was owned by "Dubai".

Then the company was "Dubai Ports World". Now they're "DP World".

Why have the people writing the news slowly exised anything foreign-sounding from the name? Strange.

I keep my tin foil on my weiner not my dome,
